A B C1 2 3Text Box: Faith Lutheran Christian Preschool Goals The goal of our preschool program is to provide each child with many age-appropriate learning experiences in a loving, Christian environment. At Faith Lutheran, we emphasize the “whole child”, which stresses spiritual, cognitive, language, social, emotional, creative, large motor and fine motor skills development. Themes are used to introduce and develop concepts through large-group experiences, small-group experiences, play, exploration, and the use of centers. The typical 3 - 5-year-old will spend most waking hours at play. Play is extremely important to their development and offers an excellent opportunity for language development. Books are read in all classes to encourage a love for reading, develop literacy skills, and acquire basic knowledge.
